Laurence D. Gore
Drucilla E. Bell
Elliott D. Goldberg
Peter W. Summerfield

Laurence D. Gore, who has practiced law in Florida for almost thirty years, has been a cruise fanatic since a very young age which influenced his development of a specialization in travel law (purchase and sale of travel agencies, legal advice and representation of both travelers and agencies).  His international practice also reflects his global view sparked by his early experiences with cruises and intensified by his post-graduate studies in comparative law at Oxford University, the Hague (Holland), Panama City (Panama) and Cali (Colombia). Mr. Gore's international business transaction practice is very active and involves clients in many European, South American, Middle Eastern as well as Asiatic countries. He and Ms. Bell were both members of the first group of International Civil Law Notaries licensed by the Florida Secretary of State in 1997.  His practice also includes probate and real estate law, as he writes for Attorney's Title Company.

Drucilla E. Bell has practiced law in Florida for over thirty years, including a six month stint in Estonia in 1996 to teach Comparative Legal Systems.  Her career started with serving as Assistant General Counsel in various agencies of the State of Florida, where she felt she became a bureaucratic expert, which she has carried into her international practice.  Ms. Bell successfully defended the first state licensure examination in acupuncture in 1985.  At first concentrating on international business transactions, she found that most foreign investors, workers and even employers, eventually wanted legal permanent residency and with the increased push to rid the US of foreigners, her expertise is needed to assist foreigners in their quest to become and remain legally in the US.  She still handles international divorces, international child abduction cases, foreign property transfers (as Civil Law Notary) and travel law cases, as well as mediating cases involving disputes with state agencies because as she learned in her eleven years with the state, it does not pay to sue the state.  Even if you win, they will change the law.

Elliott Goldberg has been licensed to practice law in Florida and Pennsylvania for over thirty years, but started his practice by being Assistant District Attorney for Chester County, Pennsylvania, quickly becoming Trial Team Chief and then advancing to Special Prosecutor of Wayne County, Pennsylvania to direct the sensitive federally-funded "Farview State Hospital Grand Jury Investigation", supervising a staff of 20 for two years. Upon moving to private practice, he had a number of firm associations in the Paoli (Chester County, PA) area where the firm maintains an office today.  Subsequently, he served as Solicitor of the Phoenixville (PA) Area School District from 1983 to 1994.  In 1999, he moved to Ft. Lauderdale and since then, he has prevailed in several complex, commercial litigation cases in Florida Circuit Courts and Administrative forums, such as Broward Marine, Inc. v. Palm Beach Polo Holdings, et al and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services v. Premier Travel International, Inc.  Mr. Goldberg continues to represent many business and individual clients, both in Florida and Pennsylvania.

Peter William Summerfield of London, England serves in a relationship of counsel to the Gore Bell & Goldberg partnership.  He graduated with an Honours Degree in Jurisprudence from Pembroke College, Oxford, England in 1957 and since then has become a Solicitor with Honours in 1960 and an Accredited Mediator in 1990.  His practice includes general litigation with special emphasis on international commercial and contractual disputes, banking, insurance, contested probate and negligence claims; arbitration - acting as Arbitrator (e.g. ICC Paris and Endispute) or for parties to arbitration; Mediator for CEDR and ADR Net.  He represented the Litigation Unit of US Justice Department in the UK for over 25 years.
